Keeping our heads above water

Me and some of the other mom's that I go to church with decided to start a lunch/play date once a week. We get together at someones house and bring food to share and let the kids play. The most important thing is that we all get to talk to each other. Rotating houses helps keep down on the mess we all have to clean. This past week it was at Melissa Clark's house and she had an awesome setup in her backyard for the kids to play. The group is getting sort of big so for the warmer days with no rain we are going to move it to a local park. That way there isn't so much madness. But we love the time we get to catch up with one another.

Brendi is such a great sport and lets me take a picture of her. Everyone else dives out of the way!

Can you tell I don't have my paint.net downloaded yet on my new computer. I haven't been able to fix any of my pictures!

The Clarks are raising some chickens for eggs! The kids loved them.

See having your picture taken isn't that bad...ladies!

Of course it's not bad having your pic taken...when you're the hot mama...but for the rest of us, it kinda sucks ;). And who would that adorable little boy be peaking in the corner of your picture?! hehe

Fun group! Wish I was there to join! I started a group like that with church friends here, but then it kinda fizzled out when it got cold. I need to start it back up again now that it is getting warm enough to play at the park.

Your hair looks great! I love it short like that! My hair is in need of a cut...but I'm waiting a couple weeks, just before Jake comes home for his 2 week break so it'll be nice and fresh :)

Hey, I don't think I've invited you to my blog yet...what address do you use so I can invite you...that is if you want to be invited :) Email me at jakenamyquinn at msn dot com

Ann, it is easier having your picture taken when you'r Brendi! But I braved it for my own blog...LOL! I look at every picture I'm in these days and it's all I can do not to cry! But I'm working on it best I can. Also, I thought it was too cute that Gavin peaked in there!
