Gone for the Weekend

I just wanted to drop a quick note and let everyone know that I am leaving on Saturday for Utah. I am so excited! I am taking Jack with me and we are going to see my sister Lacy and my BEST friend Alicia. Brett was a baby the last time I saw her and have missed her so much! Isaak and Brett were sad that they aren't going to see Lacy and David. So we promised we take them to see the snow there this winter. So hopefully my next blog will be of pictures of my trip out there. Love you all and hope you are well!

For Sale...By Owner

So Danny and I decided to put our house up for sale a few months ago and three weeks ago we put the sign up in the yard. We feel it would be better for our family if we live closer to Danny's job. And by closer we mean walking distance. So it looks like Sara and Blasen are going to have new neighbors. There is no hurry this is mostly a decision to decrease stress and increase time we can be together as a family. We also looked at our boys and their futures and then looked at how quickly we were paying off our own debt. I know all that seems like a long ways away but it will be here before we know it. So the new chapter in our lives has begun and we will need all the prayers we can get. The market is not the best right now, but we feel very strongly that this is the right time to do this. Talk about a leap of Faith!

Ok, as for the rest of the family stuff. Danny is now working four days a week at work and then four hours from home on Friday and then he has the rest of the weekend off. We enjoy the extra time with him here and feel we get more accomplished on the weekends. I have just taken on a job. Danny's boss hired me to clean their office twice a month and I don't mind it. It's actaully less than I have to do here and the extra money will be nice. I will now be able to join the gym down the street from our house! And the rest is going into savings! Isaak, is now mister attitude, but is still a huge help with Jack. He can intertain him so well when I need to run and get something or help Brett...on the potty! Brett is LOVING school and that makes me so happy! Brett is also well into the terrible two's and the trouble he gets into amazes me. In a bad sorta way. Jack is officially bald now. He looks a lot like GRANDFATHER! He is still a cutey pie but bless his heart...he use to have soooo much hair! Here's a picture from today while he and Danny were having tummy time. Love you all!

A Day of Firsts!

So Jack is really starting to do more! Today he rolled over for the first time and I actually SAW him do it! The first of my boys that I've caught in the act! Then I discovered he has a tooth that I can feel just under the gum. This is also a first for me cause my other boys didn't teath until almost 8mos. I am also nursing Jack...fun fun, with teeth!

We have also been practicing sitting up and getting on our knees! He has just burst into all this stuff and it's making him sleepy. He goes from 7:30pm til 5am. It's amazing...also a first, I have a child that sleeps! I should stop while I'm ahead! I know this is short but, I had to share!

First Day of School

So, Monday was Isaak and Brett's first day of preschool! They loved it! The back packs and lunch boxes were just putting them over the top with excitement. I was nervous Brett was not going to do well. He tends to want to hang out with me. But I really talked it up and we got him a Hulk back pack...which he calls a Hulk pack and he was set. Isaak is an old pro at it since this is his second year there. They met their teachers on Friday and I was ready for Monday to arrive.

We got up and got ready that morning. They had their back packs on for an hour before school started and ready to head out the door. We got there and they ran to their classes barely turning around to tell me goodbye. It was a relief and sorta sad all at the same time. Jack and I spent the morning chilling and getting things done at a normal pace with a lot less stress! Jack even napped for a couple hours. I ACTUALLY GOT A SHOWER, and didn't come out to find someone bleeding or the house in ruins! It was so nice! Anyway, at 12:30 I went to pick them up and they still had huge smiles on their faces! Brett had a great time and is ready to go back tomorrow! Isaak of course made fast friends and was telling me all about it day...minute by minute!

Here are some picks of them before we left for school!

Jack's Hair...or Lack there of!

Little Jack is too cute, but he losing all that hair he was born with. The spots that are thin have tons of fine bright blond hair. So here are the pix as promised!

Here's Jack at 2mos...and now!
Notice how he's holding onto all the hair at the base of his neck! We love the little man!

Becoming Independant

This is going to be short but I had to share! Isaak has been coming into his own lately. He likes more things because he likes them...not because mom and dad do or someone else. Well, we have been letting him grow his hair out. Now to specify we have kept it in a buzz cut because it is crazy! He has two huge cow licks on either side of his head that makes is hair stick straight out. Well, he has decided he wants to embrace the natural flow of his hair and pick his own hair due. So here is how he likes his hair when we let him decide.

Now, onto Brett! He has always been our free spirit...especially when it comes to what he wants to wear. So when we are at home we let him choose what he wants to wear around the house. I have to say...this has been my favorite!

And one last side note...I don't have a picture yet. But Jack's hair is all falling our and growing in blond! Poor baby looks like an old man losing his hair!
