So Behind in posts

OK, I have done well on my other goals this new year but it has caused me to fall behind on Blogging. I have two rolls of film that need be developed and put on my other page. I also have pictures I want to take but the weather has just not been cooperating. For instance as I am typing now it is raining cats and dogs out there. I don't do well in the winter. I get in the house and shut down! I become a hermit and just don't do much.

We are also working on down sizing and moving to a smaller place this summer. This is in order to help reach some of our family goals we have. I think learning to sacrifice for a better future is a good thing for us to start doing. Anyway those are some of the things we are doing.

Isaak is starting Soccer in March and he couldn't be more excited! He has had a soccer goal in the back yard for a couple of years and love it! Brett doesn't want to play T-ball, but I'm hoping he gets into something in the next year or so. Jack wants to do anything. So we might look into some things for his age. I'm not sure though. I am just plugging away with home and church work. Danny is traveling and working. We are hoping for a vacation this summer to the beach out here. But I'm sure I'll have more pictures as the summer starts.!

The Snow is melting!

We loved the snow and all the fun days playing in it, but it was time for it to melt. We can see our yard better now and today is suppose to be 51 outside. This will only last a day and will be back down to freezing tomorrow! The boys and I will take advantage of the weather and walk to get Isaak from school today. This year has not started of great for us, but it has given us the opportunity to count our blessings.

Now we just have to work on our Taxes. I'm hoping that doing two different states won't cause problems. But moving onto a happier topic. I taught a lesson in church yesterday that really made me thankful for all my mom did for me growing up. I definitely have a wonderful feeling when I walk into our old home, where I grew up. She does a great job making it HOME! I pray that my boys will have the same fond memories of our home like I do of the one I grew up in!
