Don't let life get you down!

So I'm sure most of you heard that our house was broken into this past Friday! It was shocking and we are fairly certain the person is behind bars. The whole thing is a long story, but we are all fine and the house is now safer. Life goes on! He only took the TV and DVD player(and the new DVD that was in it), and all of that is being replaced. Thanks to good insurance!

It just kills be how people think their actions have no effect on anyone else. That whole "It's my life I can do what I want" frame of mind can cause trouble. It is true...we do have control over our lives and what we WANT to do, but that doesn't mean it isn't rude or inconsiderate to those around you that have to live close to you. It's the same frame of mind my toddlers live by...life should be the way I WANT it, not what would be best for me and the family I live with. As you can tell the robbery has had be thinking. Anyway, I hope we all realize that there is truth to the golden rule. Do unto others, as you would have them do to you. And one of my favorites...Carma's a B#*^@! I like Earl! Now on to the projects in our house we wanted to do. Now that we've finished the ones we needed to do to make our family safer!

OK, I'm off my soap box. I will have more(funny stories) soon!

A Few of Their Favorite Things

I think I must just be putting up lame posts lately, cause no one is commenting. There just hasn't been anything exciting of crazy fun happening around here. But I have taken the last few days to get some pictures of the boys doing what they love to do. Jack, of course, has the most cause he is the busiest since he loves being mobile! So enjoy the show!

One of Brett and Jack's favorite things is putting hats on. Brett puts them on Jack and they laugh!

Loves his vibrating teething toy! Thanks Momom!

When Momom visits the boys have too much fun.

Aunt Alicia's scrub jammies!

Playing on Mom's bed while she cleans!

Who needs toys when you have a pantry?

Taking the wet laundry out of the dryer while mom puts it in...isn't that fun?!

Playing with Bones!

Pushing the big trunk round and round the house!

Isaak stares or plays with anything that has a screen on it...drives me nuts but he loves it!

So that is what they love doing! I just keep up with them and make them help me keep things clean! Never a dull moment and most of the time that's great!
